Day 1

Arrival in Tuléar - Transfer to Madiorano

On arrival at Tuléar airport, you will be met by our local team. Transfer for around an hour to Madiorano, a small coastal village nestling on the edge of the Mozambique Channel. Check into the hotel and enjoy your first taste of the peaceful surroundings, between lagoon and white sand.

Day 2

Madiorano - Visit to the village of Ambatomilo

After breakfast, departure for Ambatomilo, a traditional Vezo village. This day is devoted to discovering the daily life of the fishermen, their craft techniques and the warm atmosphere that reigns in these unspoilt villages. A truly authentic cultural experience.

Ambatomilo - A day of relaxation

Enjoy a free day in Ambatomilo. Relax on the beach, swim in the turquoise lagoon, or take part in optional water sports (snorkelling, canoeing). A break to savour the calm and natural beauty of the coastline.

Day 4

Ambatomilo - Road to Sarodrano - Reniala Reserve

After breakfast, departure for Sarodrano. On the way, visit the Reniala private reserve at Mangily. Here you will discover a thorny forest typical of the south-west, populated by baobabs, endemic birds and rare succulent plants. A symbolic crossing of the Tropic of Capricorn. Arrive in Sarodrano at the end of the day.

Excursion to Nosy Ve with picnic lunch

Head for the island of Nosy Ve, opposite Anakao. This small protected coral island is renowned for its immaculate beach, its seabirds and its crystal-clear water. A day of relaxation and swimming, punctuated by a picnic prepared by our team.

Flamingo watching - Discovery of the village of Sarodrano

A day devoted to exploring the area around Sarodrano. You'll start by watching the pink flamingos at the mouth of the Onilahy river. Next, a walk through the village of Sarodrano, with its mangrove swamps, traditional houses and coastal atmosphere.

Natural springs & Sarodrano sacred cave

Depart by traditional pirogue to reach the natural springs of Andoharano, nestling in an arm of the river. Take a dip in the clear, fresh water, then continue on to the sacred Sarodrano cave. A picnic lunch is organised here, in a place steeped in legend and spirituality.

Day 8

A day of relaxation in Sarodrano

The last day is free to follow the rhythm of the lagoon: reading, swimming, canoeing or simply contemplating the landscape. A moment to recharge your batteries in the midst of nature.

Transfer to Tuléar airport - Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer from the ecolodge to Tuléar airport for your return flight to Antananarivo or the rest of your stay.
